STUDENTS TACKLING ISSUES THEY CARE ABOUT

Implementing A Real Career Plan

High school and college students benefit greatly from developing, refining and implementing a comprehensive
academic and career plan. The plans that most students have, if they have one at all, are limited to academic
requirements. A comprehensive plan addresses all of the major job opening requirements, including work experience, academics, critical skills and certifications.

Mentored Pathways begins this comprehensive planning by helping students explore what's happening in the world
around them related to their interests with mentor support from someone who has been successful with the same
professional journey.

The Mentored Pathways career development journey is unique. Students own their planning from the beginning and receive support, encouragement and challenges to refine and execute the plan.
