1 Student Role:
Students share brief biography information and share
examples of art work with their mentors.

Mentor Role: Mentors provide feedback on student portfolio
of artwork and share why they are interested in supporting
student aspirations in art and entrepreneurship.
Acquire a telementor to aid them in drafting LEAN Canvas
model

Student will share elements from portfolio of work.

2 Students type what has been written prior to working with
a mentor:
I. LEAN Canvas Draft(to be written last)
One page description of the project written.
II.Lesson Two

Mentor Role: Give feedback to students on the feasibility
of their business idea.
Teacher Role: Prepare lessons on developing a business
concept, mission, and vision.

July 8, 2015 1 Million Cups preview and Local Team Meetup

Business idea proposal showing how mentor feedback was
incorporated.

The students will show, using a different text color, the
edited mentor feedback for each outcome of this project.

Students will Create budget of costs for the mimimum viable
product, including any investments from family or micro-
loans. The spreadsheet will provide a very basic cost
versus revenue estimate.
3 Analysis of the On Million Cups logic model for business
plan development.

Student will draft 1 Million Cups logic model and
presentation format to be shared with mentor.
A. Self Analysis
Personal business experience and training/education in
the proposed field, personal business strengths and
weaknesses, demonstrated willingness to take risks, a
brief plan for personal development in the proposed
field.

Mentor Role: Read completed sections of the presentation
format created by students. Proofread and give
suggestions on the LEAN Canvas and presentation model.

presentation model

6 minute educational presentation.
20 minutes of Q&A from audience members.
After your presentation
You will receive formal feedback from the organizers via
a survey.
After your presentation, you may receive private
comments/feedback from the audience. This will go
directly into your company profile. For your eyes only.
4 Student Role: Complete LEAN Canvas Revision
Evaluate 1Million Cups presentations

Mentor Role:
Read and respond to completed sections of the student !
Million Cups draft model or evaluation of presentation.

Teacher Role: Teach the concepts of the 1 Million Cups
presentation model and evaluate ideas and revise plan.

7 Evaluation of first week's sales success

3)Help student evaluate their first weekend of sales.

Suggested Teacher Role:

1) Teach/preview concepts/meaning of questions and give
assistance regarding parts of the business plan assigned
2)Monitor the flow of information between student &
mentor.
3)Send letter to individual and/or all mentors explaining
what is necessary for better understanding of the project
and/or students, as needed.

8 Evaluate Second Week of Sales Success.
Gross Sales and Net Sales

Suggested Mentor Role:

1) Assist the student with any part of their business
plan they are working on and have questions about. Help
students to understand which financial forms would be the
best to include in the business plan.
2) Proofread whatever has been uploaded for you to read.

Suggested Teacher Role:

1) Teach/preview concepts/meaning of questions and give
assistance regarding parts of the business plan assigned
2)Monitor the flow of information between student &
mentor.
3)Send letter to individual and/or all mentors explaining
what is necessary for better understanding of the project
and/or students, as needed.

Student completes questions assigned on the business plan;

9 Student Role: Evaluation of Sales Success

assistance regarding parts of the business plan assigned

mentor.
Student completes questions assigned on the business plan;
Updates their portfolio of correspondence from mentors.

September 8 Tuesday Evaluation 5-7 PM
10 This time period is scheduled for oral business plan
presentations. Students will be presenting business plans
that meet the criteria to be entered into COHAB Creative
Entrepreneur evaluation
During this time students will write and thank mentors for
their assistance, inform mentors of who won the class
competition, and complete a survey for this website.

Cohab meeting:
September 22 Tuesday Evaluation and Next Steps 5-7 PM
Students finalize the telementoring project with a thank
you to mentors and evaluate their experiences with
telementoring.
