1 STUDENT begins indepedent research in preparing for website design and preparing for initial correspondence with mentor.

Current Website: www.foxesNGO.org

FoxesNGO Requirements: envision a website similar to the look and feel of:
www.PeacehouseAfrica.org

2. Student Application for a TM Mentor
2 STUDENT & MENTOR: PLEASE review the FoxesNGO.org and the PeacehouseAfrica.org website as the example for the new FoxesNGO website.

STUDENT prepares first message to mentor, informing mentor about the project. Share your thoughts about both websites. Create the banner and nav bar.

MENTOR: Introduce yourself to student, include information about your Web/HTML experience and ask any questions about the project. Share your thoughts about both websites.
1. Prepare Introduction Letter including information about the project and thoughts about the websites.
2. Complete the banner at the top in PhotoShop.
3. Begin the draft of the Home page - in DreamWeaver using CSS, if possible.
4. Determine what buttons/links would be needed for the Primary Nav Bar.
5. Submit a .jpg of what the home page will look like, at least complete with buttons on the Primary Nav Bar and with the banner at the top.
6. Prepare a list of questions about the site to submit to mentor and/or customer when possible.
3 STUDENT continues to design the website using appropriate computer/website design tools creating also a website ‘site-map.'

MENTOR: Assist student in designing and building the HTML/CSS style framework for the website.
(STUDENT is working on multiple projects, so advise student in good time-management and multi-tasking skills.)
1. Create the flash animation for the main part of the home page using photos from related sites.
2. Create the footer information.
3. Put all elements on the home page in DreamWeaver.
4. Send .jpg of home page of website for critique by mentor.
5. Submit your understanding of what is needed for the site in a site-map form created in Word.
6. Request a temporary site accessible by all parties necessary so the site can be uploaded as progress is made.
7. Continue feedback with prepared questions for mentor and customer.
4 STUDENT builds on the HTML/CSS framework, adding information components and advanced graphics/designs.
Also think about proposal letter and any other drafts of required project documents.

MENTOR: Assist student with advanced HTML/CSS code and other data components. Check HTML script and help debug any errors that prevents website from working.
1. Complete the main page after comments from mentor and customer and upload.
2. Begin the secondary page(s).
3. Upload nearly-completed draft of website: main page should look "complete" and secondary page(s) should be at least half done.
4. Continue communication between mentor and customer.
5 STUDENT continues refining website and site-map outline, and work on proposal letter.

MENTOR: Assist student in critiquing and improving website and site-map outline. Help student revise proposal letter for a final copy for FoxesNGO Organization.
1. Complete secondary page(s).
2. Modify as per communication with mentor and customer.
3. Upload changes. Main page and certain secondary page(s) should be completed.
4. Present Draft of Proposal letter for review.
5. Introduce student to NGO.
6. Prepare a brief explanation as to why the student chose this design and etc...
6 STUDENT will make FINAL changes to the website and any other documents for submission. Also write final message.

MENTOR: Assist student in making FINAL changes to the website and any other documents for submission and write final message.
1. Make any changes suggested by mentor and customer.
2. Upload final Website & other documents for mentor as part of conclusion to Mentoring Project.
3. Send final message to mentor.
