I have a better understanding of the importance of doing well in math.

How many students would you prefer to directly supervise in the program next year?
15

Please provide some tips on how we can partner with you to expand the program in your area.
none

How would you rate the quality of the matches between your students and mentors overall on a scale of 1 - 5?
4

Please describe any changes you'd like to see that might further improve the quality of the matches.
Provide mentors with exemplars of good communication to the students and let the mentors know that it is going to take more time. Some of the mentors did a great job communicating because the took the time to compose great letters to the students. Others were not as effective because they didn't spend the time communicating: just a sentence response to the students. Make sure the mentors can see these great examples of communication before they sign up so they know what they are getting in to. I know that I need to work with my students to improve communication and improved mentor communication would help in this area.

Describe a few things you and your students and mentors were able to accomplish through this program that would have been difficult or impossible any other way.
The students had some great project work that would not have been possible without the mentors. Mentors provided great support and advice. They pointed out a lot of things that students do not consider because they do not have workplace experience
