Mentors were awesome. Don't know how you could improve the quality of the mentors.

Students had breakthru's that would have been impossible without the program. Students are headed to college and career ready to go and anxious to get started down their own path

My own situation is the lack access to a computer lab, which was promised at the outset.

Student have had to generate documents to be used in different formats. Students now see value in being connected.

When you applied to be a teacher contact you were asked to meet the following requirements.
- All student/mentor commmunication is project based
- Participating students receive a subject grade and turn in work at least biweekly
- Teachers should communicate at least biweekly with the mentors
- Students should be self-selected for participation.
- Teachers should expect a high degree of accountability from their students.
- Teachers should respond to specific program problems within 48 hours

Quick response to mentors was the most important aspect that will help the students in the future.
Please describe which requirements, if any, were difficult to meet. Please note why these requirements were difficult to meet.
Students were not self-selected. I enrolled the entire class and later dropped 2 who just would not communicate.
If you were helping a new teacher start in this program, what advice would you offer that would aid this new teacher and his or her students to be successful participants?
Keep it simple with not too many steps, and to have a regularly scheduled time at a computer to collaborate with their mentor. Build in time to communicate to mentors at least weekly

What additional training would you recommend for teachers next year?
Pretty intuitive and straight forward. Not sure any additional training would have helped me. This project took alot longer than I thought it would and that surprised me.
