If I had any question then my mentor, Gina, always responded quickly and tried to help me in any way she could in a positive manner.
The best part of working with a mentor was having some feed back.
My best part was, sharing about the STK 10 program, and the video I send her.
My mentor gave me advice on how to tackle a project and certain things that real workers in the workforce would have to do.
The best part was communicating to a person who understands and will help explain their take on the projects.
The best part would have to be that she would always respond and seem to care about what I was talking about. Always asking a question of some sorts that helped me formulate a response back to her. And she'd be updated on what's going on.
It was nice to have a helping hand to give me advice and to have someone check over my thinkings.
I got to ask questions and receive help on topics I didn't know about.
I liked how my mentor not only helped me with academics, but also my extracurriculars. She was very helpful with more than just organization.

I would not like to receive help from a mentor for any other academic areas.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
Continue being nice and keep doing what you are doing.
Try to email them if they do not email back, just to help them out with stuff. Sometimes they may not be too comfortable to ask.
No advice at all she did a good work.
To continue to be constructive. Also, to continue to be understanding of students because junior year is very demanding and stressful. My mentor was very considerate of this.
I think communicating faster to students responses would be more effective.
Any advice I would give is to keep doing what she is doing because she is doing a great job. I have no complaints about the help she gave me.

Try to message the student you are working with more.
I would only say to keep it up. I believe that my mentor did exactly what i expected and even more.
To help the new student be on a schedule so he or she is able to do their work on time
If I had to give any advice to my mentor it would be to try to be more active with the program, I felt like the gap in times I were to get an email were too large at times.

I don't think I really need mentoring support.
Yes, because I think in theory this is a good platform to learn from people who've been in your place.
Because they have more experience than what I have
I think mentors would be beneficial in giving advice for real life jobs and careers rather that simply telling them about school projects.
I do believe that this is helpful, but I think a more qualified mentor from NASA or something to do with aerospace would be better for the class I am in. I think that having a mentor is important to guide us through some parts of projects that require extra knowledge.
Because I feel like it will help me more and more as things progress more. With maybe more complicated and more difficult things that do not require a program of some sorts.
It would be nice to have someone to criticises my things such as writings o projects for later things in life.
I think it was very helpful and it couldn't hurt.
It was helpful but i prefer not to receive mentoring because i feel its another thing to do on my list and if i'm busy i won't have enough time to answer my mentor
It helped me better my assignments in the class and I would like that support as my classes get harder as I move farther and farther in my education.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
The most difficult part was trying to write as much as the mentors.
My mentor was unfortunately not able to reply as much.

Feeling guilty about sometimes not responding on time.
The difficult part was having to explain my projects in a detailed way to my mentor.
Sometimes, I had nothing really to update my mentor on. Due to either being stuck on something and she could not really help me with or just having nothing to update her on because I am still working on the same part.

It was a nuisance to constantly log on to the website and contact every week without personally getting a message.
