Please describe the best part of working on this project with your mentor.
I really was surprised at how much help she provided me with. Compared to my past years in the biomedical program, she really helped elicit ideas out of me that I never would have before.
The best part of working with my mentors was the brainstorming process, it was definitely the most helpful part of the entire process.
The best part of working with my mentor was that thy did more than just help guide me with my assignments and give me feedback; he gave me advice and guidance with my life.
The best part of working on this project with my mentor is that it was a brand new experience. It was cool acquiring advice from an expert.
I liked receiving professional advice from my mentors on rough drafts the best.
The best part about working with my mentor was how much support I received, and also the amount of helpful advice.
The professional input and insightful feedback she gave on the assorted projects throughout the year. The instant access and weekly contact opportunities were very constructive.
She was very nice and very helpful with the mechanics of my projects.
The best part of working on this project was the peer review and beneficial tips I would receive from him.
He asked many helpful questions that allowed me to think deeper on ways that I went about the projects.

Please share any other academic areas where you'd like to receive help from a mentor.
Math would be a good subject, because they could help you work out hard problems or English so that they edit your papers
My mentor helped me in achieving more than just my academics, he helped me with weeding out career paths and learning more about options that were possibly available.
Any areas that she would be glad about helping with.
I would benefit from a mentor in an English class.
N/A
Math is troublesome from time to time.
I would like to have some assistance in chemistry and a slight amount of assistance in math.
I do not feel that I have any other academic areas where I would like to receive help from a mentor.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
Dorothy did really well, I do not know if there is much more she could have done for me. Keep on relying consistently and providing helpful feedback
Be personable and professional. I found that being able to know more about my mentor helped with the work that coincided with the projects.
Your original introduction is amazing in helping the student understand who you are and what you specialize in.
Do not be afraid to criticize a student's work harshly so long as it is constructive in the end.
That quick responses are nice and both positive and negative comments are helpful.
My advice would be to continue in this program.
Keep up the level of feedback consistent throughout the semester.
Maybe trying to ask some more thought-invoking questions if the student does not seem to be making sense or understanding.
Never be shy to suggest edits or other things wrong about project work and such.
I feel like more constant communication would have been better although I know how busy he has been.

Please describe why or why not.
I like to get help
Being able to talk with professionals about different areas of study, allowed me to take into account ideas or perspectives truly helped me with the process required to complete most projects. It would definitely come in handy in the future as I move to attending college
This program helped me in understanding more about my academics but also my life, future, et cetera.
Yes, mentors can help the potential of students through the connections that they have.
It was beneficial.
I am not continuing my education any further
I think there is a great capacity in this type of structured contact, a more personal contact network would benefit me more personally.
I feel it is a really nice and helpful tool.
I think it would be beneficial for me to get as much practice as I can for when I become a member of the professional workforce.
Mentors allow me to think beyond what I normally would on solving problems.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
I did not like the two message per week requirement. Conversations seemed force and unhelpful at times.
I often forgot to message my mentor, which was entirely my fault, which was my main issue with the program.
Some of the most difficult parts was not getting a notification if there was a file uploaded so it was hard to know unless they directly mentioned it.
The most difficult part of working on this project with my mentor was using this website. I would much prefer email but I understand that this is safer.
Sometimes emailing my mentor took away from class time.
Trying to keep up with the updates and e-mails.
The constant contact at times was hard to keep up with, I felt as though bi-weekly was a bit too much for me.
Sometimes I would forget to send a message because I did not have anything to add.
The most difficult part of working with the mentor was being forced to write messages when it was unnecessary, such as working on work that does not require mentor assistance.
The lack of overall communication made it more difficult to complete this project to the best of my ability.

Did we miss something? If so, please share any additional comments you might have about your experience in the program.
none.
Thank you!
No, thank you for everything you have worked to provide.
I think it would be beneficial to be more personalized rather than class/project based, even though I can place the blame on myself at times for not taking advantage of it. I found it fascinating having input from someone across the globe, that took time out of their day to help out.
