The best part of working with a mentor was the fact that i had a person I could turn to with questions about my career and the path I was taking for my future.
I enjoyed exploring my career with my mentor and finding out new information about the career fields

I would love to work with a mentor in my career field when I am beginning to plan my schedule for college so they could help me decide which classes would be the best to take for my career field.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
I was inspired when I got a message from my mentor and I hope she will communicate even more with other students.
I would recommend that she continues to respond to future students quickly because it kept me engaged and eager to see her responses everyday
I get stressed out easily so I appreciated the encouragement that my mentor gave me throughout this project, and I'm sure other students would as well.
I always enjoyed hearing from my mentor and it helped motivate and encourage me to make my goals. I hope my mentor will interact more with her future students to encourage them. It was discouraging when i went a week or more without hearing from my mentor.
To not change much at all.
Just continue to be dependable on to respond often and offer great input.

I would find it helpful to have a person that has gone through the challenges that I will go through already and help direct me, especially in college class planning.
Yes because I enjoyed learning new information with my mentor and developing a friendship with her.
It was nice to get information from someone with experience in college and career readiness.
Although it was very helpful I prefer working independently on projects.
It helps me learn new things from different perspectives told by new people.
It was incredibly helpful to have someone who is experienced in going to college and gaining an education to ask for advice from.

the most difficult part of this project was narrowing down topics in the vast field of herpetology that I was truly interested in.
The most difficult part of working on this project was researching 2 career fields because I wanted to learn about them both.
Sometimes I got a little stressed out because I was extremely indecisive in my career choice.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was not hearing from her on a regular basis.
