Please describe the best part of working on this project with your mentor.
Having someone there to help me when I need it. Having feedback from others then just the teacher to get outside of my "box" and think.
The best part of working with a mentor was receiving feedback on my projects. The feedback was great and it helped me get better grades on my assignments.
It was nice to have another opinion other than a teachers or parents.
Not only hearing from someone who has done the field you are interested in,but having someone to better you show and give you more in sight in the field really helps
The best part was getting feedback and other views on the information I was looking into.
The best part of working this project with my mentor was, during the survey portion she helped me with the questions i asked and she sent it to some of her friends. I truly couldn't have gotten through that portion without her. Also all of the little random questions here and there it was nice having someone to ask and explain them to me.
Figure out what career I actually want to do.

English
The other academic areas where I'd like to receive help would have been other classes, but my main focus was sticking to the assessments that my mentor knew about.
It would be nice to have a telementor in English or journalism.
My mentor helped me on so many academic levels. I have a reading problem and have taken class to improve these certain skills, and my mentor helped by giving me ideas about writing better word choices and how to read with the kids so I don't miss a word and I can help them
Other academic areas I would like to receive help from my mentor are, the development and effective writing of essays.
Math
Maybe helping me in other classes because it was really helpful to receive some audience thought this whole class.
What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
I like getting personal with other people because I am a very outgoing person. I felt like her and I never got personal but on a few occasions with one another. It was all strictly business, but then again some people like that!
The advice that I would give my mentor would be keep doing what she's doing. I always felt that she helped me to her best of her ability and that helped me. I think that if she gave the same advice and helped the new student just as much they will also be successful.
Know that some students sometimes just dont know what to say in am email because they have never had a telementor before, but they will get better as the project goes on.
Make sure they are always up with the next assignment, because even though we might get behind to have someone pick us help and get us on to the next thing would be nice.
I would tell them that they are doing great, and that they should do exactly what they did for me.
Responding more my mentor would go weeks without responding.
Just make sure that you keep in contact every other day or so.

It gave me a lot of new knowledge that I had always been searching for. When you are talking to someone else on line it is sometimes easier to understand then when you are talking to someone in person.
It would be a great resource to have in the future.
Mentors will be needed all throughout senior year while trying to plan out the rest of your life.
There is all ways room for improvement and I would love to have it, so I cant better myself in the fiel

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
Probably ensuring that I communicate 2 times a week. Sometimes life just gets so busy and you are so caught up in things you forget the little things like messaging your mentor back. I really tried to make a conscious effort to do so.
There was no difficult parts of working on this project.
Sometimes I would forget to check for emails or email back.
The timing; we both had such busy schedules with school,work,and a few personal problems in between. We some how managed to get it all worked out and set up a schedule for one another
Communication, because we have different time zones and sometimes personal things got in the way like vacations.
Not getting a response
Just not responding when i needed her the most.
