I'd like to receive help from a mentor in computer science.
What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
Make sure you know who you are sending messages to. We got messages that related to Ayden's project, not ours.
Just keep doing what you are doing.
We don't have any advice except for be patient with responses because it's hard to remember to email your mentor.
Some advice we would give our mentor is if the kids don't email you every week then they should email the students.
We suggest a few more links because we got stuck at times but our mentor really did help us find our info.
When you send a file, please send one that would be possible for others to view. (An email was not able to be viewed do to being given a local link for the mentor's computer and not a file that could be accessed otherwise).
Just send a little more messages and keep up the good work.
From our experience, we would say respond to the student frequently.
Some advice we would give is keep asking questions and giving suggestions, that helped us improve our second prototype.
Give websites for research and ideas for prototypes.
Maybe give more links to the students and more info... be more active and specific.
Be more of a helping hand and more engaged in what the student is doing.
I would say, maybe respond a little bit more often.
send more messages.
Email your next student more often.
The advice i would give our mentor would be to just be a bit more specific when replying to us and helping us out.
We both thought she did a great job. She kept up with sending messages and giving feedback.
Be more engaged and give advice, not just websites. Work with them.
None
Our mentor did great things for us, so we have no suggestions for her.
We would say that website links are always good to have and you can never send too many.
I would tell them to respond more and do more research on the topic if they don't know about it.

I would do it again because I think I would get a better mentor who who help me and my part Isaac a little more.
They helped us collect information we could not find.
It is very helpful in developing further in research and projects.
Because our mentor didn't give us the best advice ever.
I didn't feel they helped me a whole lot.
Yes because they are very helpful
It would be a great way to get feedback, and suggestions.
It is always good to have a professional help with big projects.
Our mentor was a great help.
They helped us explore different things we wouldn't have researched before, it also helped very much to not give up when we had the help and support.
I don't really think I need any help with future classes. If a big project came up, then I might want to have a mentor.
Cause it makes life easier.
It's hard to communicate.
It was a great experience and it really boosted our knowledge towards the science subject.
