The best part of working on this project with my mentor was the research and communication skills I have gained throughout the process.

The best part of working on this project with my mentor is that I got to share what I was working on with the person who was mentoring me and they could give their opinions about what could be added, removed or changed in order to make the project the best it possibly could be.
My mentor edited my paper and also I learned about my mentors life so we became friends.
Learning all of the new things and being able to work with someone who has a lot of experience in the business field
All of the feedback that I got from her. There were times in my research paper that didnt exactly make sense, but it had what I wanted, and she made it sound the right way.
Determining my demographic was my favorite part of working on this project with my mentor. The back and forth was exciting and constructive.
The best part about working with my mentor was being able to ask a professional on advice with my business plan.
They always had really good feedback and helped me to think about my project from a different perspective.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
I don't have anything to add. She did a wonderful job in helping me be successful on my project.
My advice would be to maybe set up a schedule of when the mentor can email back, I know as students we had to contact out mentors at least twice a week. I think that setting up at least one day a week to check the website for new updates from either the student or the mentor would be very helpful.
Try to reply back faster at times but I understand if you have personal things to do but let us know so we are not just sitting her waiting.
Some advice I would give to my mentor is just to give more advice on things and faster responses.
I wouldn't give any advice because my mentor was amazing.
I would have to say give a little more explanation over some business terms. Other than that Matt did a very good job and I'm glad that I got to work with him.
Continue what shes doing! Everything she did with me, was great as is.
When working with a new student next time I feel that my mentor should check in more frequently instead of doing updates only after each section.
Advice that I would give my mentor would be to give more feedback on the actual paper instead of just editing the paper. I think that would of helped me more.
Sometimes it's more helpful to receive actual advice and criticism instead of just getting a "good job" or "looks good" on sections. I really like being able to get feedback for the work that I did so I can make it better.
I believe that shorter, more regular, comments will help the student more than one big section every once and a while.
My advice to my mentor would be to try to respond faster. There were times when I had a deadline for something and I would ask my mentor and would not get a response till after the deadline.
Sometimes it was a little weird to communicate, just because I don't know anything about her. Maybe add some side conversation with each contact. It doesn't have to be much, just a little.

Yes because their is always going to people who know more than me about a certain subject and I'm going to need advice or help in that subject. No matter how old you are, you can always learn something new.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
The most difficult part was finding the material and context to input into my document.
The most difficult part was keeping my mentor up to date, I would make little changes through out the paper, or complete the next section and have to change previous sections. I would forget to upload and send my mentor the newer versions alot.
The most difficult parts were when my mentor didnt reply back for like a week and I really needed feedback.
The most difficult parts of working on this project with my mentor was the time waiting for replies and that we lived in two different countries which did not help. Other than this however nothing was difficult.
The most difficult was not being able to talk to her in person and only on the computer.
I would say coming up with a name for the business. I wasn't sure what to name it and Matt helped me but also he questioned my final decision.
Getting everything back on time.
The communication between me and my mentor was difficult with the time frame given to do revisions. Smaller communication more frequently would be more of a help than getting a lot of information at one time.
The most difficult part would be that we never get to meet up with our mentor and everything is over the phone.
Sometimes we weren't able to communicate before deadlines had to be met, but luckily my teacher worked with us on that.
The lack of constant communication, and not every thing that I submitted was commented on, leaving me to wonder if it was good, or bad.
I would say the most difficult parts of working on this project with my mentor would be communication. There was a lot of times when I needed my mentor to respond to me and they didn't.
I never knew how fast my mentor would respond to my emails, but she did great.

Did we miss something? If so, please share any additional comments you might have about your experience in the program.
nope
I think that upon entering the mentor program, the mentors should be sure that they do not have any upcoming projects that could prevent them from completing the program. I am very thankful for the time my mentor spent with me and my project, but towards the end I had to receive a new mentor and it was more work to explain everything again.
No, I think that you guys did a really good job setting up this program.
