The mentor replied very fast and was helpful with ideas.
The best part of working on this project with my mentor was being able to bounce ideas off with her. Also, she was great for giving us extra information that we did not think about when we were working on the project.
I liked that Melissa gave me good feedback. She responded quickly to me emails. I also liked it when she would go through my paper and make suggestions and edit.

THe best part was my mentor pitching in better ideas for our team to use. They were also very persistent in helping our team achieve our goals in a consistent maner. My mentor always kept up with the project, and was very patient and engaged the whole way.

I'd like to see a little more consistency in my mentors replies most of the time it was good but other times they said they were going to send me something back I needed but did not. At the same time I understand though because they have families and jobs and we are not their first priority.
I think more business courses should use this.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
Some advice that I would give my mentor would be to sometimes give more meaningful replies.
My mentor did great and responded appropriately the entire time. I would suggest that the mentor get as much information from the student as possible and be checking their email at least twice a week to be able to give the student a quick response.
I think that Melissa did a very good job in mentoring me, and she was very helpful. I would suggest that she reads the project description or section description to have a better idea of what the project/assignment is.
I would tell my mentor to keep everything the same. She gave detailed feedback and always responded soon.
I would maybe tell my mentor to be a bit more engaging.

To reply to them because part of the students grade is mentor contact and that is hard when your mentor doesn't reply because you feel annoying.
I would advice them to give as much help with editing as they can and to not be afraid to shoot ideas to their men- tee.
I think my mentor was fantastic. The only thing I would say is making sure to reply as much as possible. However, our mentors have jobs and families, so not responding quickly is understandable!

Since my mentor was very engaged, I would recommend that that my mentor would treat their new student the same way.

I just think it is always helpful to have ideas from another person that is a professional and can help you out.
In college or if I was to do another big project for marketing or business, I would definitely like to receive mentoring support.
I would not be interested because I can not think of another time when I may need a mentor. While my mentor was a huge help in my success, I think I could have done well on my own.
I would want to recieve support in the future because they know things that I don't know and they offer good feedback and advice.
I think that advice from someone that is successful and has used what they know to get them there is helpful to get ne where I want to go in life.

I think the program is a fantastic thing but it was difficult when my mentor wouldn't reply so i would like to try out the program with a mentor that actually did something.
Yes because those that already have experience normally give great advice and it is always good to have someone helping you because they could look at things from a different prospective.
I think having a mentor really helps students and makes them more confident to present the material they had help developing.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
The most difficult part was not being able to communicate in person with the mentor.
The most difficult part was maintaining a constant contact between my mentor and I. Once I sent an email I was unaware if my mentor had read or gotten my email.
The most difficult part was communicating with my mentor what I wanted her to look at and need help with.
It was hard at times waiting for feedback although everything was fine.
I think the most difficult parts of working on the project with my mentor would be working the website easily and staying in contact. I didn't ever know if my mentor messaged me back unless I got on the website.
I had a hard time remembering to contact and send my draft
The most difficult thing was working on different time frames, and waiting on responses.
Communication with my mentor. We were told to contact our mentors twice a weeek and my mentor wouldn't even reply to me once a week so i felt annoying when i kept replying to her twice a week.
Getting things done in a timely manner.
I did not have any difficulties. However, Google Drive may be a very good way to edit papers without changing the format through the editing option.
The time between feedback and the responses were very broad.
I wanted to meet my mentor and be able to talk to them in person.
The most difficult part was meeting the deadlines because we were working at a different pace than the computer.
My mentor was great, I just wish they provided us with more editing to our paper and specific, detailed improvements instead of general ones. There was also a difficulty in uploading some files for our mentors to view.
