Please share any other academic areas where you'd like to receive help from a mentor.
I would love to receive help in math, language arts, and social studies.
I would like my mentor to help more with real specific and small tuned things in my project to help me see closer.
I would like mentor in language arts because i would like feed back on my writing
Chemistry, Physics, History,

An academic area where a mentor would be nice is science and social studies. I believe this because those are some rough subjects for most students.
Reading and writing and problem solving.
I would really like help in social studies. I would like help in this subject because we are always working on big projects. It would be like to get constructive feedback on those projects.
History and Science.
I really enjoyed having help in science. But, if I were to receive help in other subjects, I would like to receive it in the social studies or math areas.
I would like to receive help from a mentor in math and social studies.
An academic area that would be nice to receive from my mentor is Social Studies or History. That is one of my worst subjects in school right now. Since history doesn't come to me easily, having some extra help would be awesome.
I received help with the major part of graphing and taking the information and putting grades in.
Another academic area where a mentor would be nice to have is in Language Arts because it would be nice to have feedback on essays or papers.
Maybe... LA.
Some academic areas where I would like help from my mentor would probably math, social studies, and science. In all of those classes, we have been having some projects that would be helpful if there was an extra person to help me decide on some ideas of how I could make my project better.
It might be nice to have a mentor in Language Arts who could give me feedback and help on my writing.
I feel that I would only like to revive help with science in the future.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
I would advise my mentor to ask more questions about the experiment because sometimes students don't always explain everything in the best way. by asking more questions it shows the student that they need to clarify more before they present.
I would say reply more often, and help with more specific things.
I would use words that are easier to understand.
List all of your favorite activities hobbies and things like that.
I would say to bond with them like I did with mine.
Give then the same amount of information and help you gave me.
I think that my mentor should ask more questions. That would be helpful because then they would know more about our projects.
I think that my mentor should have emailed a little bit more, but that is also partly my fault.
I think that my mentor did a great job working with me, they sent me links, gave me feedback, and gave me advice. If they were to work with another student I would just say, to keep it up.
Some advice I would give my mentor when she works with a new student would be to try to give them a little bit more advice, even if it will hurt their feelings. Although my mentor was awesome throughout this whole year I would have liked if she could have given a little bit more advice on how to make my projects better.
Some advice I would suggest for my mentor is to respond a little more. I know that mentors are doing this voluntarily, but my mentor sometimes didn't respond until two weeks after the message I sent.
I would say to stay the same with answering back to messages and the advice you give.
I have no advice that I would give my mentor if she worked with a new student because she was always helpful by giving me websites, feedback, and ideas.
To be open minded to their way of working and adapt you teaching and mentoring around that.
My mentor did a great job. SHe emailed me back almost right away and guided me through the whole experience. She gave me just enough information to help me but not to much so I felt like I didn't do anything.
I would tell my mentor to remind her future students to share things with her and review them even when the student doesn't ask.
I would tell her to mabey give them websites again, because I know that it helped me.
To give them more or good feedback
I would make sure that my mentor emails back promptly because it was hard to get feedback fast when she never really emailed to fast.
I think to find a time when they are both free with their time so that they can communicate easier.
Nothing!
Some advice is just to keep giving the student detailed messages to continue to be able to have something to think about.
Keep doing what you're doing! Nancy replied on time, gave feedback, provided me with good information, it was all golden.
I have no advice my mentor was awesome
The advice that I would give to my mentor as she works with a new student is to keep doing what she id doing. I had an amazing mentor because she would always help me when I needed it.
To treat your student like a friend by messaging about some other things than the project.
Try to email your student as soon as you get it.
As my mentor works with a new student I'd just remind her to remain pactente, becasue it's a push and pull project.
I would tell my mentor to keep doing what he was doing because I feel like he did a great job helping me.
Maybe for him to email more.
Probably just to keep doing what you're doing. Because my mentor did a great job.
Make sure you are clear with feedback. Make sure the student completely understands what you are saying. Also, say something good about the project, and then something bad, and then something good. It is an easy way to provide criticism without sounding harsh :)

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
The most difficult part of working on this project with my mentor was communicating twice a week. Sometimes I would forget to email them, while sometimes I ran out of time. Sometimes I also didn't have any updates to share with them.
It was hard to work on this projects sometimes because we had to start over and my mentor didn't give the greatest tips at the time, but did support us.
The most difficult part about working with a mentor was being able to send messages.
Communicating was very difficult while working with my mentor.
the most difficult part was
One thing I do wish my mentor did not do was compare me to a everyday 7th grader.
Communicating 2 time a week could be difficult when I was busy with my group.
Sometimes I would not respond for a while and our project would have changed so much that she didn't really know everything that we had done for a while.
The most difficult part was remembering to email him multiple times a week.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was probably the communication. Sometimes it was hard to get in touch with my mentor.
The most difficult part of working on this project with my mentor would have to be receiving enough websites about my topics. Also, finding time to communicate in general.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was communication. Since we have to use email, many errors could occur.
The most difficult would be to constantly check your emails to see if he sent a message.
The most difficult part was some problems in the experiment. For example we had some days during our experiment when the mice we where testing didn't want to coroporate.
Trying to get things across so she could visualize my overall progress.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was probably just having the team to email her back. The website also kept freezign when I was writing my email so it would just disappear and I would have to start over.
For the whole first quarter, I didn't know how to upload anything, which was extremely frustrating! It would be nice if there was a way to include photos in actual emails instead of having to upload individual pictures, which takes a very long time.
I feel that it was most difficult to be able to get my mentors computer to be able to see my Imovie. If she could have seen it, I would be not as stressed out about the project.
Communicating because I sometimes forgot about sending my mentor an email and sometimes they where things happening in her life and it was a bit hard.
The most difficult part of working on this project with my mentor was communicating daily with my mentor
The most difficult part was being able to get her to respond quickly.

The most difficult part was being able to send detailed responses in the short amount of time I had, and to keep responding back and forth with each other.
The most difficult part was when I would send my mentor links and she couldn't view them.
I think commicating with my mentor was really hard we would talk back and forth but it was hard and it took up a lot of class time
The most difficult part of working on this project with my mentor was remembering to email my mentor at least twice a week. When I struggled with something, I emailed my mentor often for help, but when things were going smoothly, I would forget to email my mentor
The main difficulty of this project for me was putting together my PSA because I could not share my progress as easily as I could with my research.
The most difficult part was the lack of communication.
I am very busy a lot and it was hard finding time to write.
Working with my mentor was very easy.
The most difficult part was communication because sometimes I would be too busy to write a message.
