I was given good insight from another point of view as well as someone to critique my work.
The best part of working on this project with a mentor is I was able to learn a lot about myself and what I am interested in. I was also able to get feedback and help from professionals, which was extremely helpful and informative.
Having someone to help you with things that you can't quite do on your own is very nice.
Please share any other academic areas where you'd like to receive help from a mentor.

I don't know that there is anything in particular that I would necessarily want help with from a mentor.
I'd love to do more research on Mechanical engineering with the help of a mentor.
What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?

My mentor was well experienced with what she does. She is doing a great job as is.
My mentor did a fantastic job, and there isn't much that I could tell her that she doesn't already know. However, as a general rule, I would tell mentors to be encouraging to the students they are mentoring, but also provide him or her with some tips on how to improve.

I would like to learn more and receive great insight.
It gives further insight from someone who has already been where I have and also a second point of view on how my work is perceived.
I think it is nice to receive help from professionals, because they have an advanced knowledge and understanding of the field or areas of interest that I have.
I feel as if having a mentor helped me to understand the information much better.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
It not auto correcting when you write messages, and not automatically capitalize the letter I
Words can get misconstrued through electronic messaging as you can't hear the tone behind words in your head.
I think the most difficult part of this project was narrowing down my interests into one field.
Sometimes, Mr. Rickey or I would be very busy and couldn't communicate with one-another.
