Please describe the best part of working on this project with your mentor.
I think the best part of working on this project with my mentor was the fact that I got to have a new idea on where to look for art classes.
Talking with her and hearing her advice.
My mentor was so helpful. The collaboration taught me a lot about working with other people. I also liked that I got to choose what I learned about and support, and I got have someone with the same interests as me help.
The best part about working with my mentor on this project, was bouncing ideas off each other. Without my mentor, my project would definitely not have been such a success. I really liked having another opinion to work from, instead of just my own.
The best part of working with my mentor was getting the help I need almost instantly.
He was very helpful he just has a busy scedule so it hard for him to respond alot but ofer all he gave me good ideas evan without the presitation because it was to big to send.
The best part of working with my mentor was getting feedback on any questions I asked that was thorough. I also appreciated that may mentor usually responded quickly.
I got a lot of help, and I really appreciate it.
The best part of working with our amazing mentor, Smita, was having someone to help us debug.
the best part about working with my mentor was that she gave me great info on things I was having tough times with.
Having the expierence of a professional in the field of work that I am passionate about was the best part of working with a mentor.
The best part of working with my mentor was that he would write back and forth and him tellng me about what to do.
The best part of working with my mentor was being able to bounce ideas. She had some great ideas that I took into account and used. It was also nice for her to give feedback on my own ideas, as I didn't have experience as to what would work best in a presentation format.
The best part of working with my mentor as all the great feedback that she gave me, she was really awesome and I really thought she was great with replying.
The best part about working on this project with my mentor was moral support. While my mentor helped my project by telling me how to write a letter requesting a match, he helped me mentally. This is because my time was little and I didn't have much time to work on my project, so, naturally I felt rushed. But Chris helped me know that I was doing what I was supposed to, and this helped me finish my project.
Please share any other academic areas where you'd like to receive help from a mentor.
I don't know any other academic areas where I would want any help from a mentor.
none
I think the way we have been receiving help works great. We get to choose what we want to learn about and get help from a mentor.
I think I received great help from my mentor. I don't think I could have gotten better ideas from her.
I think that what we did, The GT continue the vision, was the perfect time for Telemenor.
Engineering mainly because that what I what to be when I grow up.
I do not really know what academic areas that I might need help for in the future.
I don't need help in any other help, thank you.
There are no other academic areas, but we would like to go deeper into other types of coding.
my mentor was awesome and gave me everything I asked for and was very encourageing!!
Civil Engineering is another are of intrest that a mentor could help me.
I would have liked to have recieved help from my mentor through sending me ideas of things to say, encouragement, etc.
At the moment, I cannot think of other academic areas where I'd like to get help from a mentor. However, this topic worked well and I'd do it again. In spanish, a mentor might help me, too.
I really don't know any other academic areas my mentor can help me with.
I wish that my mentor would have had the time to help me write some of the letter's and create the donation sheets. Instead my dad had to help me.
What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
Perhaps check how badly the student wants the mentor's help before committing to the mentorship. Check that the enthusiasm is mutual.
Just be you and keep them focused but at the same time be like a friend.
Keep up the great work! You were so helpful and very efficient with your responses. Whenever I needed help you gave me help without doing the whole project for me. The in- depth interview questions you helped me write really helped me understand more about my project.
The only advice I would give my mentor as she works with other students, is to keep doing what she is doing. During the course of the semester, I felt respected, and like she valued my opinion. I really liked the feedback my mentor gave me.
You did a great job continue what you did and thank you so much for what you have done for me.
I really liked my mentor and there is nothing that I would ask him to improve on.
I think he did a great job, and that it was my fault I didn't use him to my very best potential.
Keep doing exactly what you are doing. We found great help in having a third brain to work on our game.
I would tell her to do exactly what she did with me.
Communicate more. We were in touch at the beginning of the semester, but as it went on, communication was becoming less frequent.
I would tell my mentor to try to write as often as possible and to ask questions to get the student moving along.
My advice would be to keep working with students the way she did with me: working through roadblocks, generating ideas, and being reliable.
I don't really have any advice, she had it all set up for everything. She seems that she has it all down so I wouldn't change anything.
I would tell my mentor that he should notify the student early on of when he will be on a vacation/work trip. This way the student won't be aggravated when their mentor doesn't message them for 2 weeks.

Would you be interested in receiving mentoring support from professionals in the future?
5 - No
10 - Yes
Please describe why or why not.
My mentor did not do as I think a real life mentor should. A real mentor should be a teacher, only with more advanced, individualized subject matter and conveyance methods. My mentor was more of an, "Oh-you-might-be-interested-in-these- websites," and "Did-you-finish-whatever-you-were-told-to- do?" However, for the way that this website was formatted and set up, my mentor did everything I could have possibly asked her to do. I do apologize to her for not giving her enough opportunities to help. I just had plenty of resources at my disposal, and had no further use for my mentor.
Because it was very helpful and I liked my mentor a lot.
I loved the help. Lots of times I am afraid to ask for help, so with a mentor that was there for the sole purpose of helping me, made it easy to ask. I don't know what I would have done without my mentor on this project. She helped me make and sell my bumper stickers, she immediately helped me when I had a problem, and so much more!
My mentor made me feel valued and special. Since I'm only a kid, that doesn't happen all the time. I really enjoyed this experience, and would love the chance to do it again.
I would because it is really nice having a professional helping you that is as excited as you are about your project.
I just do not like having the point a to b on a scedule I would just like to do my own thing and get to the point b around the same time but my way.
I do not see myself needing any support from Telementor in the future.
Though this project didn't need very much help after the first stage, I haved seen positive results from everyone including myself.
Yes, we would love to. We would not have gotten past a lot of problems without our mentor. We would just like a better method of communication.
I would not need proffesional help in the future because I usally start prodjects that do with things that I am very familliar with.
I would be interested in recieving further mentoring because it helped me gain understanding of a field I would like to work in one day.
I didn't feel that a mentor was real helpful, but it depends on the project that I am doing.
Receiving mentoring support from professionals in the future would benefit me greatly in many formats, and I'd be happy to utilize this opportunity.
I thought that this was a great experience and I would like to have it again sometime.
Yes because they can help me mentally and acedemically.
Was this the first time you've been part of a formal mentoring program?

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
The continuous demand that I update my mentor with everything going on in my life, and tell her formal reports on what exactly I did that day, even when I did nothing worth speaking of.
Not being able to talk to her as much
The most difficult part was worrying. After all the help my mentor gave me, I was afraid of letting her down. That is my main problem when working with others: being afraid of letting them down. However, my mentor made it very easy to communicate with her, and never put me down, improving my confidence.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was not letting her down. I really enjoyed the time I got to work with her, and I really wanted to impress her. She was such a great mentor!
To be honest there was no difficult parts of working with my mentor but, I guess spell checking my draft messages.
Not being able to send my presitation.
The most difficult part of working with my mentor was the fact that we had to email each other and could not communicate by a conversation. This was not a huge problem but I thought that some of my minor, quick questions (or ones that were hard to answer) would have been better suited if I had asked them in a conversation.
I had a lot of trouble finding screen capture software, and he helped me a lot.
The most difficult part was communication with our mentor.
Replying and talking 2 times a week.
Lack of communication was the most difficult part of working on this project with a mentor.
The most difficult part of the telementor program was trying to fit in writing my mentor and working on my project and trying not to get kicked off of the program.
The most difficult parts of working with my mentor was the email format. I mean this by having to wait for a response other than getting immediate help.
The most difficult parts of working on this project with my mentor were probably when I was making the interview because I didn't have enough time to make them so I was rushing, and I hadn't even found someone yo interview but my mentor was trying to contact people to interview and it really troubled me but my mentor really helped me through it.
The most difficult part was when my mentor was gone. Because when he was gone so was my mental support. I wish that I had at least known when he was going to be gone.
Did we miss something? If so, please share any additional comments you might have about your experience in the program.
No, I think the survey covered everything. I don't mean any disrespect, I just was not the person who this program was built to help.
no I really loved my mentor and I just want to thank her as much as I can
I loved working with my mentor, and any student would be lucky to work with her.

I had a great time using this program and would most likely use it in the future
Nothing.
I had an alright time with my mentor. I didn't feel that he helped me a bunch, but that was partly my fault for not using him as much as I should've. With my project there wasn't really much he could help me with
I believe that my mentor and telementor in general has done and is doing a great job.
Mrs.Serena was a really great mentor and I was glad I had her as a mentor.
Occasionally I would be working on a lengthy message and the website would log me off. This was EXTREMELY aggravating because I had to redo my entire message.
