The best part about working with my mentor was that he provided real life advice and made me feel comfortable with communicating with him.
Getting honest feedback and opinions on my work from a fellow musician.
Jon was very helpful in pointing out where I went wrong on my work. I'd say we built a friendship over these few months.
He helped me a lot to learn about my career. He is a great friend and the best part was him critiquing everything I did. It makes me better and I really appreciate that.
My mentor helped me learn about what I want to do with my future and how to get there.

I'd like to get more help in math. I feel like it hasn't been my best subject in the last few years.

Possibly as a tutor when I get to college-level chemistry?
I think that I personally could use a mentor in science. I don't always know what the teacher is talking about, so it'd be nice to have someone else to help me understand everything.
I think it would be great to have a mentor for learning about computer programming.
I can't think of any.
What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
There isn't much to change. He made me feel comfortable and he made it easy to talk about the project. That's the prefect way to work with a new student.

Jon was a great tutor he was quick to respond even when Hurricane Sandy ravaged his state. If I had any advice for him I would say to keep doing this job as he does it now.
I wouldn't give my mentor any advice. He worked with me well and he always responded with great feedback to help me out. I think my mentor did an excellent job working with me.
I think that my mentor did a great job and she would be a great mentor for anybody.

Yes, because they have have real life experiences and can provide great information for me. They have more experience in what they do so they can provide information for me or anyone.
Education is a lifelong process, if one doesn't have a little help getting through it, they will crack under pressure.
I would because these mentors have more experience. Since they have that experience they can give you a lot of advice. These mentors are great and help out tremendously.
My mentor was great at helping with the projects and I got plenty of great advice.
It really helped me out.

Please describe the most difficult parts of working on this project with your mentor.
Sometimes it got hard to explain what you wanted to say over the computer. It's always easier to explain things to someone in person, but this was a great experience.
Waiting days on replies. It made it hard to continue working while waititng on feedback.
The rate in which the assignments came at me. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and found it difficult to balance time and quality.
The most difficult part was gathering the information. Other than that it helped me a lot and I really appreciate my Telementor for working with me.
I sometimes struggled with thinking of what career I wanted at the beginning of the program.
Having to do everything on the deadline.

No, this was a great program that has helped me very much. I enjoyed it very much.
I think a personal profile for both student and mentor would enhance the experience. Including short bio and appropriate photographs.
My experience with telementor has approved since last time. I leave this time with a feeling of confidence for the future. I believe that this experience should be left for a student's senior year as it helps one move on to the next stage of life.
