My mentor was really nice and really helpful. We are also unique from the other students because we are both Filipino.

What advice would you give your mentor as he or she works with a new student?
to keep a 2 message per week status with their student.
My mentor is really good at helping students. I don't think I can give her any other advice.
To communicate alot. My mentor did so it was very great and I had sufficient advice and helpful tips.
My mentor, was absolutely fantastic and she just needs to keep up the good work. We worked really well together.
Just make sure you communicate with them about twice a week.

Try and communicate back quicker and try to stick to what idea the student wants to rather than challenging them by suggesting things that are of the same topic but hard to understand.

I would because I feel like mentors can be a second mind and they can criticise you for things you do.
My mentor, Dohnna, was helpful and replys to my messages consistantly.
I can have help and a better understanding at what I'm trying to achieve.
I think if I kept having mentors like I just had, I would be very interested. She had really encouraging and positive ideas and she gave me suggestions whenever I was struggling or had a question.
Having someone to help you understand is very important.
I'm very independent and like to do my own things without help.

Getting the late dates met.
I never know when my messages sends a new message to me.
The hardest part was because she couldn't do the project with me and couldn't see my presentation.
I didn't have any difficult moments on working on this project with my mentor.
Sometimes I didn't receive communication from my mentor, so it was kind of hard knowing what exactly to do.
Trying to communicate without ever talking to the person
When he didn't communicate back in a sufficient amount of time and when he suggested things that I didn't understand then when I asked him to explain he sunt me to a website rather than trying to explain.

The most difficult parts of working with my mentor is the fact that they are busy and do not respond until a week and a half sometimes when the topic of help is due before they respond.
Getting information back and forth quickly.
The most difficult part was catching up with various subjects in my project.
The most difficult part would have to be getting everything just right to where the experiment and the slide show would be perfect.
Not being able to talk instantly with them when i needed help.
The most difficult thing was being able to get help in time. A lot of the time I didn't get a response in time to change anything before the assignment was due.
