Continued communication. Also the communication was through another teacher and not directly with the student's teacher which made it difficult at times.
More frequent updates on project status would be appreciated


Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
We discussed opportunities to improve verbal presentation skills.
Student did not respond to suggestions and recommendations. Feedback was largely ignored throughout project.

The most difficult aspect of participating.
This particular mentoring assignment required some additional work as the student was struggling early on in communication of assignments and interest in the overall work. I reached out to the teacher to provide some additional information to the student. Not sure what turned around for the student but they become more engaged.
