Joan did an excellent job with this project, as always. She kept us informed on what was happening in class and any changes to the schedule!

Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
His final project was very well done and highlighted the information he had learned about a marine biology career from his research and his interviews with 3 professionals. One improvement he could make would be to double check his work prior to submitting it. In several instances, typos were carried from one section to another of the project once corrections had been made.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
0 - No
1 - Yes

Why or why not.
Yes, I enjoy helping students learn about their "dream" careers and helping them to develop a plan to reach their dreams!

The most rewarding aspect of participating.
Having the opportunity to connect my student with professionals in marine biology careers and seeing how much he learned from those interviews!

The most difficult aspect of participating.
He was not as communicative as some of my previous students which made it a little harder for me to know if he understood everything and it was a little harder to build a working relationship since we rely on written communication for this project. The other challenge for me was finding the time I needed to mentor with having a new baby.
