Things either the teacher or the Mentored Pathways Staff do to make a similar project more successful.
Reduce the complexity of the project, assist all students during the project
Ensure that the ITP system allows for the student to upload documents, e.g. powerpoint or word documents. It would make it much easier for both sides to ensure the final project would be presented and would allow the mentor to influence the presentation skills of the mentee better.

Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
1 - No
3 - Yes

Why or why not.
It's easy, does not take up too much time, and it's rewarding to know that it helps the kids and the teachers.

The most rewarding aspect of participating.
Being able to help the student through the project.
Most rewarding is trying to make the students see things that they would not have known about. For me it is very important to always keep on questioning them on the how and why, not providing them with the answers.
Meeting the students in person.

The most difficult aspect of participating.
The student was not communicating on a regular basis, I was losing track of what was going on and what she had accomplished or not. There was no written deliverable showing where in the project we were at. The teacher was not always very clear either on what he expected. I felt a little disconnected several times.
Ensuring the correct follow up is done by the student or even by me, with pressure of my job.
The para wasn't very communicative. I could have helped much mores had she been in touch withme more. when I offered suggestions, I never heard back if they were useful. When I asked to review project components before they were presented, I got dead air.
