Provide very clear details regarding what's expected from student, what would receive a high mark. Also if timelines are changed, provide updated version.
No suggestions at this time.
Build a timeline and stick to it or explain the deviations to the initial planned timeline.
Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
My student has not provided final project, I don't think they've reached that stage
Nathan's papers and projects were written very well. The quality was outstanding.
Surprisingly higher than I expected, almost what I would receive from an entry-level analyst or college-hire.
Single variable data analysis is available everywhere. The interesting stuff is when looking at sub-groups and their specific behavior in the marketing realm.
Overall experience in the program.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
0 - No
11 - Yes
Why or why not.
Yes, Nathan was a challenge and I enjoyed helping him to achieve his goals. Mentoring with Nathan was rewarding and I actually felt good that I could help or direct him to achieve his project.
It is a rewarding experience to open a student to how business operates and share lessons learned in a profession.
However, I am leaving Thomson Reuters so it will be through another company in the future.
When the student is engaged, I can help the teacher import the importance for quality and collaboration. I can assist with statistical analysis, research and written communication.
The most rewarding aspect of participating.
Nathan was not afraid to ask questions, send me papers, notes or even correct me. He is bright and on top of his work. Nathan and his partner put a lot of hard work and effort into this project. It showed thru the websites, inventories and surveys he completed. I do hope he decides to go to District Competition.
Seeing the student rethink how they will approach her future to be more successful.
It was very interesting to work with a student who is a little more cryptic in his communication style. Now I know how I make it harder on others when I do that.
To see the student complete such a large project. Then to find out that my student's project was in 2nd place.
seeing progress
I especially love seeing the student's final project, especially when they show a sense of pride in what they have been able to accomplish with a little guidance.
I love mentoring and being able to do so again especially for students who are entering a great time to pursue higher studies and/or professional fields
The most difficult aspect of participating.
Not having an understanding of student's level. I don't mean what grade they're in (I knew that) but what is expected from someone in that grade. At many times I'm not sure if I was giving them advice way beyond they're level.
LOL - keeping up with him! I did enjoy the challenge. Wish I could have given more time.
Scheduling issues with the school led to a late start and personal issues on my part momentarily interrupted involvement.
Making more time for the mentee then i sometimes do.
remembering to use the dedicated system telementor.org
For this project, my student did not communicate with me very often. It was difficult to have something to respond to and mentor about.
