Things either the teacher or the Mentored Pathways Staff do to make a similar project more successful.
Communication was good, though I would have appreciated teacher messages a bit more freuqently in the later stages of this project. It was at times difficult to know where the student was supposed to be in the project schedule.
This experience was great.

Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
Students messages were excellent at the beginning of the project, but tapered off in frequency and substance toward the end. I think more frequent and thoughtful communication in the final stages of the project would have been helpful in putting together the final project and presentation.
I thought Rebecca did a wonderful job. I did especially like the final project. She and her partner put a lot of effort and time into their web site and it showed.

Overall experience in the program.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
0 - No
7 - Yes

Why or why not.
It is enjoyoable to see the student's progress throughout the semester.
It is nice to get to know a student over the course of the project and to see their thinking on their topic develop.

The most rewarding aspect of participating.
I enjoyed getting to know Karis and working with her on HIIT vs longer term training. I also learned from my daughter that I was incorrect on my version of which one provided better fitness even for those without fitness training.
Being able to help! I think my student appreciated my input and I hope it was valuable.
Helping the student understand the real-world implications of their topic.
As always, it is working with the students and seeing them grow through out the year.

The most difficult aspect of participating.
It was hard to keep in touch when Karis was collecting data as there was a long period of time that she did not write so it was difficult to know what was happening.
Not seeing all of my student's work.
Messages- both from myself and the student- became less frequent toward the end of the project which made it difficutl to understand what was happening.
Nothing.
