Things either the teacher or the Mentored Pathways Staff do to make a similar project more successful.
This semester was my most successful match. The staff and the teacher were both stellar.
Ms. Turek has a great structure for Telementoring projects, as she keeps her students on track and is very engaged end-to-end.

Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
Continue to give the kids flexibility to follow their research in various directions and include it in their final project. Young employees often struggle with the transition to self guided actions, so I look for ways to encourage students to go beyond the assignments. Grading flexibility is key. If the students feel like they will be down-graded for not meeting the exact assignment, they won't color beyond the lines. :)
The final student project was the best I have seen to-date.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
0 - No
4 - Yes

Why or why not.
absolutely! Keep 'em coming!
I enjoy working with students and experiencing their delight when they receive interview responses or read an interesting article that they researched.

The most rewarding aspect of participating.
Watching the student's progress through the phases of the project.
The consistent engagement with James.

The most difficult aspect of participating.
It is always time. Having such a good mentee makes it easier to be motivated to "make time".
There was a short time when James was not responding in a timely manner. I was worried that he was getting overwhelmed with other school responsibilities. He got back on track quickly, though.
