Nick Moore and Haley, the student are exceptional. The processes they exhibited are templates for future projects.
Provide regular feedback and past mentoring correspondence as a template.
Feedback regarding the quality of the student's final project as well as suggestions for improvement.
Haley is a remarkable young girl. She is obviously extremely bright and already communicates well above her peer level. Her final project was very professional, well thought out and deserves the highest marks.
His content was complete, and his presentation tool was new for me too. The fact that he researched a new tool (along side creating a presentation) gets him multiple brownie points from me!
Overall experience in the program.

Would you consider mentoring new students in the future?
0 - No
4 - Yes
Why or why not.
I enjoy mentoring young students - I've done it for a number of years. I don't know a reason why I would quit.
Yes, I would like to mentor again in the future and help in hiring more volunteers from my place of work. The correspondence is very rewarding. The knowledge and spirit of research and curiosity my student displayed got me excited, and helped me learn more about his choice.
The most rewarding aspect of participating.
Seeing the results of whatever help I can provide. Seeing the difference in a student's project.
The enthusiasm of my student was contagious. He was sincere and hardworking, and some of this has definitely rubbed off on me.
Katie's enthusiasm throughout the mentoring period.
The most difficult aspect of participating.
There is little difficulty.
Some feedback from the teacher (specially for first time mentors) would be beneficial. As a mentor I would not like to push my ideas on the student, and a feedback loop will help ensure a balance.
First time you've been part of a formal mentoring program.
