Project: 2015-2016 Pace II Capstone Project

Project Plan
Unique Requests of
Participating Mentors:

We are especially interested in working with mentors interested in helping a student develop his/her research and project management skills. We are also interested in helping the student realize the importance of sharing his work with an authentic audience.

Description:

Students will team with mentors to develop and execute a capstone project at the high school level. These projects are typically centered on each student's primary interests. We have one student who is working on an activity book for an after school program in the community called Base Camp. She'll be working with a mentor from Thomson Reuters from Rochester, NY. A second student is working on a capstone project centered around young adult literature, the writing process and the publishing industry.
