Participating Mentors:

Mentor should have some knowledge/experience as a lawyer and has an invested personal interest in Special Needs/persons with disabilities. We are in need of a mentor that are familar with Gifted/Talented students with Speical Needs/Disabilties and able to exchange positive communication and encourage positive self-direction and motivation in academics and social life.

Description:

This project is a Independent Research on resources for Gifted/Talented Students interested in becoming lawyer and interested in the civil rights of people with special needs and disabilities.

1. Weekly Reflection Essay that includes resources related to career/personal interests of students for the week 2. Final Reflection Essay that includes future personal/career planning goals and brief discription of action steps. Also a 1-page resource hand-out designed for people with Speical Needs/Disabilities.
