We need mentors who have professional and/or personal interests in career planning and finance. Also willing to share personal experiences and advice with high school students of diverse backgrounds and varying knowledge of financial literacy. |
Description: | This project will have students research about careers in order to complete their Family & Consumer Science portfolio related to Budget & Finance. Using the income information about their chosen career, students will learn about taxes, budgets, and spending. They will be required to purchase a a car and work clothes after figuring out their taxes and spendable income. |
